April Fools 4-Miler

March 30th brought gorgeous spring weather for a pancake flat, four-mile race in Salisbury with a record turnout of runners for the annual race. The Striders had many top 3 finishers among this fast crowd. Alexandra Kay earned third place within her division, with brothers Sean and Aidan taking first and third place respectively in theirs. Sue Quimby, Rick Johnson, Neil Bernstein, and George Geis each ran to a solid 2nd place age group finish. Linda Fitzpatrick proved herself speedy in all things, including recovery from surgery, to place third in the women’s 60-64 division. Linda Desjardins continued on her recent winning streak, taking first in the women’s 65-70. Yet another first place finisher was Nancy Wilson in the women’s 75-80 division.
